ABOUT IWPC
IWPC - International Women Prayer Conference - is a growing ministry and prayer outreach that focusses on Women, and is poised to raise women to a viable place of Spiritual Authority, Empowerment and Purposeful Living.

In the recent history of the Church - especially within the Houston metropolis, there has been no other gathering and or conference that has maintained a focus on raising and empowering Women to a rife place of authority in Christ as the International Women Prayer Conference (IWPC).

IWPC has entrenched herself in the annals of Christian activity as a time of refreshing, revival and miracles for all in the body of Christ - especially women. Since inception at the shared revelation and instance of Dr. Peace Okonkwo  - the wife of the presiding Bishop of TREM - (The Redeemed Evangelical Mission -  headquartered in Lagos Nigeria), the reach and warm embrace of this global prayer phenomenon has been nurtured with careful planning, charisma, the word, purposeful leadership and seasoned prayers to its present spread across East and West Africa, Europe, and North America. Gradually, the vision; as received by the founder - Dr Peace Okonkwo, has been sufficiently deposited into sure and chosen vessels in different nations. One sure thing that has been achieved as this vision grew; has been the careful positioning of this wonderful prayer and ministry movement as a work that cuts across denominations, ethnic divides and cultural boundaries. Today, a huge number of the women that participate in these conferences across North America, Europe and Africa are women from various ministries and churches and ethnically diverse fellowships..

Like a mustard seed, passing through the process of becoming a huge tree, the Houston chapter of IWPC has evolved in reach and acceptance among the generality of Houston Christians. Gradually, the organizers have been able to get people to see the purity of their purpose as it concerns this wonderful outreach to the entire Christian Community.

The conference which places premium on raising women to see themselves as chosen vessels and ministers in every walk of life especially the home; normally lasts for about two days;  during the course of these days, there are specially sessions where women are motivated and taught how to practically impact the next generation by situating them in the way they should go. Other sessions includes those on relationship and Ministry.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND MINISTER / SPEAKER :
The all women affair conference features the founder - Bishop (Dr) Peace Okonkwo as the main speaker and Genet Chenier as the music minister. Bishop (Dr) Peace Okonkwo is recognized worldwide as a highly anointed woman of God who treasures the place of prayer. Her ministry has produced outstanding results and testimonies of Healing and Transformation across the globe.

In her years in ministry and for her outstanding contributions to the plight of the poor and underprivileged, she has been named as distinguished and honored with numerous awards by various organisations across Africa, Europe and America. She is the Proprietress of Word of Power Group of Schools, and founder of Rehoboth Homes and skill acquisition center - a trans-cultural initiative in Africa for the Education, training and economic empowerment of Women.

She is a mother and the Pastor of TREM Headqarters, Lagos, Nigeria.
 
The Houston coordinator of IWPC - Attorney Tracy C. Udenwagu opined that this years' conference laid so many controversies to rest. Now wome are better empowered to march on progressively... without the fear of undue expolitation by - so called passer - by Prophets whose sole aim is to decieve the flock and flece the sheeep. With this year's conference, women are better poitioned now to to uncover and display or manifest potentials hiterto covered with the cloud of ignorance and misinformation - which is a weapon of the devil.

Participants have been repositioned to ministers the grace of life freely to all through speaking the Words of this life. As of old, women will continuously have their dead raised back to life. Continue in the rhytmn of the miraclous power of God.
